Se realizó una entrevista al Licenciado Luis Gómez, a quien se le pregunto sobre la civilización Babilónica y los aportes que ésta hizo a las Matemáticas, él nos narró la época que estuvo presente que fue en el siglo IV a.C, sus aportes matemáticos los llevaron a usar las matemáticas en todo lo que hacían agricultura, cobrar un impuestos y otros oficios; esto los llevo a conocer las matemáticas y usarlas en la astronomía, en la medición y otros.

De ellos nos quedaron aportes como el calendario lunar de donde se derivaron la medición de 360 días y 360 grados; al igual que el sistema sexagesimal, de ahí la medición del tiempo 60 minutos, 60 segundos, donde este aporte todavía se usa en nuestros días.
